Site Engineer (Facade construction)
Summary
Oversee facade construction on-site, ensuring materials and work meet specifications while managing labor, subcontractors, and safety.
- Act as the technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives;
- Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
- Oversee the selection and requisition of materials;
- Liaise with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project;
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors;
- Plan the work and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
- Oversee quality control, health, and safety matters on site;
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Requirement:
- Engineering background with at least 3 years of construction site experience;
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing;
- Knowledge of project planning and management procedures, practices, and techniques.
