Site Engineer
Summary:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Site Engineer with a degree in Civil, Structural or Builder engineering to join our team and support a range of construction projects. The ideal candidate has up to two years of experience in civil engineering, is eager to learn, and can follow directions while developing their skills in a hands-on environment.
This role is ideal for recent graduates or those early in their engineering careers who are looking for mentorship and opportunities to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day site engineering tasks under the supervision of experienced engineers
- Help prepare engineering plans, documentation, and reports for construction and repairs
- Learn to interpret and apply codes, standards, and project specifications
- Support the preparation of project estimates and progress reports
- Review project plans and specifications as directed
- Help coordinate with contractors and participate in the contractor selection process
- Assist in tracking project schedules and budgets
- Observe site activities and help monitor project progress
- Learn about engineering, procurement, and construction processes
- Help track job progress, schedules, budgets, and staffing as needed
