Site Engineer

Discussion
  • Monitor and review the master construction program, identifying potential delays and preparing catch-up plans where necessary
  • Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, structural design, quality standards and safety regulations
  • Oversee and verify structural works execution including foundation, rebar installation, concrete works, steel structures, precast elements and temporary works (ERSS, falsework, formwork, scaffolding)
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, ensuring efficient allocation of manpower, materials and equipment while maintaining high workmanship standards
  • Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical challenges, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure constructability and compliance with regulations
  • Prepare and maintain site documentation including method statements, risk assessments, work instructions, construction sequences and progress reports for safe and efficient execution
  • Conduct structural testing and inspections such as load tests, material strength tests and integrity assessments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Liaise with consultants and regulatory authorities (e.g., BCA, LTA, PUB) for inspections, approvals, and submission of reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within the construction industry, preferably on large-scale building or infrastructure projects
  • Experience with AutoCAD and BIM software is preferred
