Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Site Engineer to join our construction team in Singapore minimum 5-year experience. The successful candidate will assist in managing daily site operations, coordinating construction activities, monitoring work progress and ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and work schedules.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
Monitor project progress and ensure that works are completed within the stipulated timeline.
Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues for resolution.
Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, inspection records and other project documentation.
Coordinate material delivery, manpower allocation and equipment requirements.
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
Monitor workplace safety and ensure compliance with applicable Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve site issues.
Assist in quantity measurements, progress claims and variation work documentation where required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in building construction or civil engineering projects in Singapore will be an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination and quality control procedures.
Familiarity with Singapore construction practices and relevant safety requirements.
Good communication, coordination, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
Willing to work at construction sites in Singapore.
