Site Engineer
Summary
Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, safety rules, and quality standards while coordinating teams and reporting progress to management.
Job Description
-Supervise day-to-day site operations and construction works
-Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
-Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project team
-Monitor work progress and report site status to Project Manager
-Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards are met
-Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations
-Resolve technical issues and site problems promptly
-Prepare and maintain site records, daily reports, and progress reports
-Assist in material planning, ordering, and site logistics
-Attend site meetings and coordinate inspections with authorities when required
Job Requirements
-Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
-Minimum 3-5 years of relevant site experience
-Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and drawings
-Familiarity with local authority requirements and safety regulations (e.g. MOM / BCA – if in Singapore)
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
-Strong coordination and communication skills
-Able to work independently and under pressure
-Experience in HDB / BTO projects will be an advantage.
