Site Engineer (Solar PV Projects)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Site Engineer to oversee the installation and completion of Solar PV projects in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily Solar PV installation activities.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site workers.
• Monitor project schedules, workmanship, safety and quality.
• Review Solar PV layouts, single-line diagrams and construction drawings.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or installation issues.
• Prepare progress reports, site records and handover documents.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings and site safety requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers and suppliers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Solar PV system design is essential.
• Able to read Solar PV layouts, electrical single-line diagrams and technical drawings.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site activities is preferred.
• Candidates must provide references or a portfolio of previous Solar PV projects.
• Knowledge or experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or PVsyst is advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally authorised to work in Singapore.
• Fresh graduates with relevant Solar PV qualifications, internships or project experience may be considered.
