SITE ENGINEER (SOLAR)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Solar Site Engineer to oversee the execution of solar energy projects. The role involves managing on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Site Surveys: Conduct feasibility studies, shading analysis, and grid connection assessments.
Design Validation: Ensure construction aligns with approved layouts and electrical codes.
Installation Supervision: Oversee PV module, inverter, and cabling works with strict quality control.
Safety Compliance: Implement risk assessments and enforce site safety protocols.
Testing & Commissioning: Perform electrical tests, troubleshoot issues, and verify system performance.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily progress logs, prepare client-ready reports, and support project handover.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- WSH Work at Heights certification is preferred
- 0–5 years of experience in solar project execution or site engineering.
- Fresh entry is welcome.
- Strong knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and electrical codes (NEC/IEC).
- Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and PVsyst.
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
