Site Health Safety & Environment Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day HSE activities on the construction site.
- Ensure implementation and continual improvement of the Project HSE Plan.
- Conduct HSE inspections, audits, site walkdowns, and contractor monitoring activities.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation.
- Review and support Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and Permit-to-Work activities.
- Deliver site inductions, HSE training, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor and track corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and submit monthly HSE statistics and performance reports for both the project site and the legal entity.
- Support the HSE prequalification and onboarding of new contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Support future project tenders by providing HSE input and reviewing HSE requirements.
- Liaise with project management, contractors, clients, and Corporate HSE on all HSE matters.
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience on industrial construction projects.
- OSHA 510 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry certification.
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and applicable U.S. HSE regulations.
- Valid authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:
- Renewable Gas / Biogas
- Industrial Construction
- Oil & Gas
- Waste-to-Energy
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification is considered a significant advantage and will receive preference during candidate selection.

Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to talk or hear, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Working Conditions:
- Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
