Join us and take the next step towards a fulfilling career.About the RoleWe’ve recently been awarded a major multi-million-pound design and build framework with Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) as part of its £3.6 billion Asset Management Period 8 (AMP8) investment programme. As we embark on this exciting 12-year framework, we’re looking for a Site Manager to join our Operations Team in the North East.You’ll play a key role in leading site operations — ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with a diverse team of professionals who share your commitment to quality, safety and teamwork.This is a full-time, permanent role based from our Durham site with the flexibility to cover other sites in the North East where necessary.Please note: a full, valid driving licence is required for this role.What You’ll Be DoingLeading and organising site operations to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budgetEnsuring a competent, supported workforce (including subcontractors) is in place for all site activitiesCarrying out site audits and inspections to maintain Health & Safety compliancePerforming quality checks in line with contract requirements, keeping accurate records of resources, materials and plantProducing daily and weekly reports on site resources, materials and performanceBuilding strong relationships with customers, local authorities and third parties — acting as a trusted and professional site leadYou’ll have the opportunity to shape a safe, supportive and high-performing site culture where everyone feels empowered to succeed.About YouYou’re a confident communicator who enjoys leading teams, solving problems and creating a positive working environment. You bring strong decision-making skills and the ability to coach and support others — helping colleagues grow and deliver their best.You’ll have:A solid understanding of programme delivery and construction processesExperience managing medium to heavy civils projects, including temporary works installationsKnowledge of the NEC form of contract and applicable HSEQ legislationStrong commercial awareness and a practical approach to managing budgets and costsQualifications:HNC or above (preferably in an engineering discipline)Preferably Chartered Status (not essential)SMSTSTemporary Works SupervisorCSCS or SHEAFirst AidLOLER Appointed PersonsCDM AwarenessConfined Space (Medium Risk)If you’re returning to work, looking to step up into leadership, or want a company that values flexibility and development, we’d love to hear from you.
