Site Operation Executive

Oversee daily construction-site operations for a façade and glass company, managing permits, logistics, contractor coordination, and safety compliance on site.
Job Description
- Prepare, manage, and apply for the in-house Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, alongside all necessary safety documentation (Risk Assessments, Method Statements) prior to the start of daily works.
- Coordinate continuous daily site logistics directly with lorry drivers for material handling and report operational updates back to the admin department.
- Arrange and manage daily manpower deployment, assigning the workforce based on their specific specialties and skill sets to maximize productivity.
- Review construction drawings on the ground to verify site installations and raise any necessary purchase requisitions for site work requests.
- Act as the primary operational liaison for façade contractors and specialist installers (including glass and panel-rated doors), conducting site measurements and managing precise installation requirements.
- Conduct rigorous inspections of working tools and consistently monitor operations to prevent any unsafe practices.
- Directly manage site staff and worker welfare to maintain a safe, functional, and compliant working environment.
- Attend weekly site progress and safety meetings (both physical and virtual) to resolve operational discrepancies and maintain a good rapport with main contractor heads of department.
Requirement
- Must hold a recognized Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of highly active, field-based operational experience within the construction industry.
- Proven track record in dealing with specialized façade contractors, installers, and managing physical mockups for client reviews.
- Must possess valid Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS) and Safe Management Officer (SMO) certifications.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing construction drawings on-site, in addition to standard Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to handle demanding logistics, supervise general workmanship, and manage high-pressure worker welfare issues directly on the construction site.
