We are AI Native
We are building an AI native company where AI is an integral part of how we build and operate. AI tool usage during interviews varies by role. You may be asked to demonstrate proficiency with AI tools, discuss how you leverage AI, or complete interview exercises without AI assistance. Your Recruiter will provide clear guidance as you move through the interview process.
Undisclosed use of AI not previously discussed with or approved by your Recruiter may impact your candidacy.
About The Team
As you'd expect from a company obsessed with keeping families connected, the eCommerce team moves fast and takes the member experience seriously – because a clunky flow is its own kind of broken promise. Sitting inside Journey Marketing, we're a mix of merchandisers, marketers, data folks, and designers who all care about the same thing: turning every member touchpoint — from first website or app visit — into long-term loyalty and lasting relationships. From the online store to in-app purchases to wherever commerce shows up next, this team builds the experience that turns interest into purchase. If you like owning outcomes, thinking in systems, and turning "maybe" into "yes" at scale, you'll fit right in.
About the Job
At Life360, our web experience is one of the most important drivers of device sell-through and subscription growth. Making smart decisions about that experience requires performance visibility – always knowing what's happening on the site, where customers are dropping off, and why.
The Site Optimization Manager drives continuous improvement of Life360's digital commerce experience through experimentation, behavioral analysis, and data-driven optimization. You'll manage the day-to-day execution of our web experimentation and personalization programs, translating customer insights and performance data into measurable improvements in conversion, engagement, and revenue.
This is a hands-on role for someone who combines analytical rigor with strong technical execution. You'll identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, build and launch experiments, and translate results into actionable recommendations. Working closely with Web Experience, Analytics, Product, Engineering, and Merchandising, you'll help accelerate our optimization roadmap and build a scalable culture of experimentation.
For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $121,000 to $178,500 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is 141,000 to 165,000 CAD. We take into consideration an individual’s background, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay may also vary based on geographic location, with US work locations falling into one of three geographic tiers.
Total compensation is inclusive of equity compensation in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor site performance continuously, surfacing regressions, anomalies, and emerging trends proactively — bringing a diagnosis with business context and recommended next action alongside every flag, not just the data.
- Identify conversion optimization opportunities by synthesizing quantitative funnel data with qualitative signals — session recordings, heatmaps, and usability findings — to understand where and why customers experience friction and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with Analytics to define measurement requirements, ensure visibility into key site performance KPIs, and leverage dashboards tracking CVR, funnel step drop-off, AOV, and session quality across key web surfaces and conversion flows.
- Own the day-to-day operation of Life360's web A/B and multivariate testing program, including test scoping, configuration, builds, QA, traffic allocation, and post-test documentation, ensuring experiments are instrumented correctly and results are interpreted with statistical rigor.
- Maintain and groom the live experiment backlog in partnership with the Director, ensuring tests are scoped clearly, sequenced logically, and launched on time.
- Analyze test results with rigor in partnership with Analytics, evaluating statistical significance, sizing revenue impact, and producing clear readouts that drive confident go/no-go decisions and inform future optimization opportunities.
- Manage personalization campaign operations — maintaining segment-to-experience workflows, coordinating with UX/UI and Merchandising on creative, and tracking lift versus baseline for each active experience.
- Partner with Digital Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics on experimentation platform configuration, feature flag governance, event instrumentation QA, and tagging validation.
- Support hands-on site optimization execution across experimentation, personalization, and content updates, leveraging CMS, commerce platforms, and no-code/low-code tools to implement and QA experiences where appropriate.
- Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations, partnering with Analytics on reporting and contributing optimization findings, experiment outcomes, and prioritized opportunities to weekly and monthly business reviews.
- Contribute to the financial modeling process by sizing expected lift for proposed tests and reconciling actuals to projections post-launch.
- Document experimentation best practices, maintain the team's testing Confluence, and help build institutional knowledge around what works on Life360's web properties.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6 years of experience in eCommerce or digital analytics, with at least 2 years of hands-on ownership of an experimentation program in a fast-paced commercial environment. Ideally within a hardware + subscription business.
- Proficiency with Statsig preferred or equivalent experimentation platform (Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target, Dynamic Yield, etc) – you've built and QA'd tests yourself, not just read the reports.
- Familiarity with headless commerce architectures, content management systems (CMS), and modern eCommerce platforms such as BigCommerce and Contentful. Comfortable navigating the technical dependencies of site changes, experimentation, and personalization across commerce and content platforms.
- Strong analytical foundation – you're fluent in GA4, Amplitude, or a comparable analytics platform, can write SQL to pull your own data, and are comfortable building and maintaining dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or similar tools. You understand the statistics behind experimentation well enough to push back when a test is being called too early.
- Experience with personalization tools and segment-based targeting; familiarity with how audience definitions, traffic splits, and experience variants are configured in practice.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis, identify customer behavior patterns, generate and refine experimentation hypotheses, and improve operational efficiency. Curious about emerging AI capabilities and how they can be applied to digital experience optimization.
- Detail-oriented operator with strong project management instincts — you can run multiple tests simultaneously, keep stakeholders informed, and maintain clean documentation without being asked.
- Collaborative working style with the ability to partner effectively with Product, Engineering, UX/UI, Site Merchandising, and Analytics teams.
- Clear communicator who can translate performance data into plain-language insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity-driven: you follow the data wherever it leads, ask good questions, and treat every test as an opportunity to learn something about the customer.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Our Benefits
