SITE QS ENGINEER– ELECTRICAL

Job Summary

We are seeking a Safety Officer with a background in Electrical Engineering to maintain high health, safety, and environmental standards across our site operations while supporting the contracts team with project documentation, tendering, and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies on site to ensure full compliance with regulatory and project standards.

• Site Inspections & Risk Assessment: Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel.

• Contracts & Tendering Support: Assist the Manager in reviewing, preparing, and handling general M&E contracts, tender documentation, and safety submittals.

• Cost Estimating: Prepare initial budget costs or estimates for safety resources, equipment, and contract variations as instructed.

Requirements

• Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working in an M&E Subcontractor environment.
• Certifications: Valid Safety Officer Certification / WSH Officer registration preferred.
• Solid knowledge of M&E site safety protocols and local labor/HSE regulations.
• Basic understanding of contract terms, tendering processes, and quantity estimation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
