Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (AWS) on behalf of its client, Mphasis, for a contract / fixed-term engagement based in Plano, TX, Jersey City, NJ, or Wilmington, DE. This role is open to candidates with banking domain experience only.

We are seeking an AWS-focused Site Reliability Engineer for a contract role supporting mission-critical banking applications and payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the availability, scalability, and security of financial services by defining and tracking SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, and supporting multi-AZ and multi-region resilience.
• Provision infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation and maintain microservices running on Amazon EKS and Kubernetes.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging capabilities using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Reduce operational toil with Python, Go, or Bash automation.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines through automated testing and blue/green deployments.
• Participate in on-call support; troubleshoot production incidents, work to minimize recovery time, and lead blameless postmortems and root-cause analyses.
• Help enforce cloud security controls, including IAM, KMS, and VPC PrivateLink, in alignment with financial industry requirements such as PCI-DSS and SOC 2.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience, including at least three years working with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong Terraform and scripting experience, and expertise with enterprise observability platforms, are required.
• Banking or FinTech experience with high-concurrency transactions, payment gateways, or core banking systems is important.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA certification is a plus.
