We’re looking for a SRE - Data & Analytics to improve the reliability, performance and security of Azure data and analytics platforms. You’ll combine cloud engineering, automation and DevOps practices to support resilient data workloads and reduce manual operations.

As a Data & Analytics Site Reliability Engineer at Ivy Partners, you will:

• Ensure the reliability and availability of data ingestion, processing and analytics services.

• Improve monitoring and alerting with Datadog and Azure Monitor.

• Resolve complex production incidents, identify root causes and prevent recurrence.

• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and Git.

• Automate operational tasks using Python or Bash/Shell.

• Collaborate with data engineering and security teams to improve platform resilience, performance and cost efficiency.

About you

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

• At least 4–5 years of Azure experience, including production support for data platforms.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks or Synapse, alongside Azure storage and database services.

• Strong expertise in Terraform, CI/CD and scripting with Python or Bash/Shell.

• Experience in observability, incident management and troubleshooting across cloud and data services.

• Solid knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, networking and security fundamentals.

• Excellent English communication skills and confidence working with international teams.

• Experience with streaming services, Azure AI/ML platforms and SRE practices such as service-level objectives and recovery testing is a plus.
