Site Reliability Engineer at BairesDev
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will apply software engineering principles to ensure system reliability at scale. You will focus on creating scalable and highly reliable software systems, balancing the introduction of new features with the stability of the production environment.
What You'll Do:
- Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to measure system health.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and "toil" to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Manage the full incident lifecycle, including response, communication, and leading post-mortem analyses.
- Optimize system performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and capacity planning.
- Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions using Linux and Kubernetes.
- Partner with development teams to ensure services are designed with operability and reliability in mind.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
- Proven expertise in managing and scaling production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration and infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and defining SLOs/SLIs.
- Demonstrated ability in incident response management and post-mortem analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
