Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Summary
Site Reliability Engineer at Lynxmind in Lisbon designing, implementing, and operating reliable and scalable platforms. Day-to-day work centers on CI/CD pipelines (GitOps), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible), Kubernetes, and observability/security across cloud-native and hybrid/on-prem environments.
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong background in systems and software engineering, capable of designing, implementing and operating highly reliable, scalable and secure platforms. The role involves applying software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations, building automation and observability solutions and ensuring high availability and performance of critical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines (GitOps or traditional)
- Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible)
- Support both cloud-native and hybrid/on-prem environments
- Implement observability and security in all lifecycle stages
Must-have:
- Proven experience in cloud-agnostic DevOps practices
- Strong hands-on with Terraform or equivalent IAC tooling
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Deep knowledge of Git workflows and version control best practices
Nice-to-have:
- Certification in Terraform, Kubernetes, or related DevOps tracks
- Experience with at least two cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Familiarity with modern monitoring stacks (Checkmk, Prometheus, Datadog)
