Summary
Contract SRE role (600/day) placed with banking client ANZ, based in Melbourne and supporting NZ timezone. Day-to-day focuses on site reliability work using DevOps tooling and Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery practices, plus secure coding, contact centre migration and API-based systems.

Experience: 8 yrs
Contract rate: 600 per day
Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer.
Methodologies: Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches.
DevOps Standards: Knowledge on DevOps tools and standards.
Core Passions: Passionate about secure coding practices, Software Engineering, contact centre migration and API Based applications support.
Compliance: Focus on compliance frameworks and standards.
Cloud Infrastructure (AWS): Strong hands-on experience with AWS Connect and related AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM).
Domain Knowledge: Experience with contact centre technologies (IVR, ACD, CTI, call routing, workforce management).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
CI/CD & Tooling: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Codefresh), JIRA, ServiceNow & Qliksense.
Observability: Knowledge of monitoring and alerting (observability).
SRE Principles: Familiarity with incident management and SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs).
