Site Reliability Engineer
About the role
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Superbank, this position will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of infrastructure and applications supporting the Superbank digital banking platform. The role will work closely with software engineering, operations, and security teams to optimize and manage fault-tolerant systems that are easily monitored. The position will also be involved in developing and implementing innovative technical solutions to enhance system reliability.
Work responsibilities
Managing the availability, scalability, and performance of systems to ensure optimal operation of the digital banking platform.
Developing and implementing automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
Monitoring systems and responding to incidents to minimize downtime and conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Collaborating with software engineering teams to design and implement fault-tolerant systems.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for processes, tools, and system configurations.
Collaborating with the security team to ensure all system components comply with company security standards and policies.
Identifying and addressing system performance issues and optimizing efficiency and reliability.
Testing and validating system changes to ensure suitability for release into production.
Job requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing and developing scalable, secure, and reliable IT infrastructure.
Deep understanding of SRE concepts, including monitoring, incident management, and performance tuning.
Experience with tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins, and AWS.
Programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
Profound knowledge of networking, security, and Linux operating systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing business needs and technological developments.
