A strong candidate for this role will demonstrate a passion for achieving the highest levels of uptime, with a sharp focus on scalability and high performance. You will have the drive to enhance system observability, ensuring the right insights and tools are in place to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications and infrastructure. A natural instinct to automate repetitive tasks and a strong aptitude for debugging and root cause analysis are essential to succeed in this role.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ITIL practices, including incident and problem management (5 yrs of experience).
- Monitoring distributed system architectures (5 yrs of experience), with hands-on expertise in log monitoring and analysis tools such as Splunk
- Hands-on experience in Java programming (3-5 yrs of experience) and REST APIs for application debugging and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Perl, or Ruby (2-3 yrs of experience), with application in observability, ETL, or tooling development..
- Strong understanding of Siemens Teamcenter architecture and monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of database principles and working knowledge in distributed storage and infrastructure solutions such as Oracle, Cassandra, SOLR, and Kafka (1-2 yrs of experience).
- Good command on Linux, networking concepts (TLS/SSL, DNS, Load Balancers, etc.,) and troubleshooting skills in large scale environments (1-2 yrs of experience).
- Experience with container management and microservices architectures such as Docker, across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Proven track record of excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
