About the Role
Walker Digital Table Systems (WDTS) is seeking a proactive and hands-on DevOps Engineer to support our Platform Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Linux administration, automation, container platforms, and production operations. This role offers an opportunity to work on highly available, critical gaming platforms supporting global customers.
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments using Ansible orchestration, Shell, and Python.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Support AWS cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS knowledge is an advantage).
Monitor platform health, performance, and availability using observability tools.
Participate in production support, incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and reliability improvements plans.
Collaborate with Development, QA, Database, and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure and reliable releases.
Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and automation standards.
Required Skills
4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
Strong Linux administration and Shell scripting skills.
Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Hands-on exposure to Cloud services.
Knowledge of Ansible, Shell and Python.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch or similar.
Understanding of networking basics, production operations, and high-availability environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect Associate or Kubernetes certification is a plus.
