Site Reliability Engineer for Bithumb's blockchain services: defining SLI/SLO policies and error budgets, running on-call, escalation and postmortem processes, improving Datadog observability, and designing highly available blockchain node and RPC infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.
You will establish SRE standards for blockchain services and infrastructure. You will define SLI and SLO policies, operate incident response processes, improve observability and reliability metrics, manage deployment safeguards and capacity planning, design highly available node and RPC infrastructure, and help engineers adopt effective reliability practices.
Responsibilities
- Define SLI and SLO policies and error budgets for blockchain services
- Design and operate on-call escalation and postmortem processes
- Improve Datadog-based observability
- Set and improve targets for MTTA MTTR and availability
- Define reliability standards for AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure
- Design highly available blockchain node and RPC infrastructure
- Develop SRE capabilities among engineers
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in SRE platform engineering or operations engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience designing and implementing SLI SLO error budget on-call and postmortem systems
- Quantifiable achievements defining and improving MTTA MTTR availability deployment frequency and change failure rate metrics
- Communication skills to explain trade-offs between reliability speed and cost and build consensus
- Experience leading the technical growth of fellow engineers
- Experience introducing operational standards across multiple teams
- Experience with Kubernetes migration and GitOps-based deployment systems
- SRE experience in high-integrity domains such as finance or payments
- Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service platforms
- Experience integrating LLM or AI tools into incident response and operational workflows
