Summary

Oversee offshore construction of suction pile foundations for oil & gas projects, coordinating fabrication, load-out, and installation while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

  • Act as the on-site representative for the EPC contractor/owner, responsible for full-site supervision of suction pile fabrication, pre-assembly, marking, load-out and offshore installation.

  • Monitor the entire suction penetration process, including water pumping, pressure differential control, sinking leveling adjustment, and final penetration depth verification; record real-time installation data and resolve on-site technical deviations.

  • Verify construction quality, dimensional inspection, welding quality, coating protection, and accessories installation of suction pile structures; ensure compliance with drawing requirements, specification and offshore industry standards.

  • Coordinate with marine vessels, ROV teams, construction crews and third-party inspectors to ensure smooth offshore suction pile installation and commissioning support.

  • Track site construction progress, report daily/weekly site status, highlight schedule risks, quality non-conformities and HSE hazards, and follow up on rectification actions.

  • Review site construction documents, as-built records, installation reports and test records; support project handover and acceptance of suction pile foundation works.

  • Manage site interface among engineering, construction, marine and subcontractor teams, ensure site execution aligns with project baseline schedule.

  • Minimum 5+ years of offshore oil & gas / marine EPC site experience, with proven hands-on experience in suction pile / suction caisson foundation projects.

  • Familiar with full workflow of suction pile fabrication, load-out, marine transportation and offshore suction installation; understand suction pressure control, levelness adjustment and geotechnical sinking principles.

  • Familiar with offshore construction standards, site quality control procedures and HSE management requirements for offshore foundation structures.

  • Able to read structural fabrication drawings, installation procedures and technical specifications independently.

  • Strong on-site problem-solving ability, capable of handling sudden construction deviations and coordinating multi-party resources on site.

  • Good English communication capability for offshore multi-national team coordination.

  • Accept offshore rotation and site long-term stationed work.
