Site Supervisor – Construction

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Site Supervisors to oversee daily construction and interior fit-out activities at project sites in Guinea, West Africa.

The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising site teams, coordinating different trades, monitoring work progress, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work is completed safely and according to project requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in villas, residential buildings, commercial buildings, hotels, or interior fit-out projects will be preferred.

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and manpower.
  
• Allocate work to workers, foremen, and subcontractors.
  
• Monitor construction activities according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
  
• Monitor progress and ensure work is completed within the required timeline.
  
• Inspect workmanship and ensure required quality standards are maintained.
  
• Coordinate civil, finishing, MEP, and interior fit-out activities.
  
• Check materials and ensure proper use and storage at site.
  
• Monitor manpower attendance and productivity.
  
• Identify site issues and report them to the Project Manager.
  
• Assist in resolving technical and operational problems.
  
• Ensure workers follow site safety rules and procedures.
  
• Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of the work area.
  
• Prepare daily site progress updates and reports.
  
• Ensure minimum wastage of materials and resources.
  
• Support inspections, testing, and project handover activities.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field is preferred.
  
• Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience.
  
• Strong experience in building construction, residential projects, commercial projects, or interior fit-out.
  
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices.
  
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.
  
• Strong team leadership and manpower management skills.
  
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
  
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and project deadlines.
  
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  
• GCC, African, or international construction experience will be an advantage.
  
• Willingness to relocate and work in Guinea, West Africa.
