Job Summary
You will lead full-time site supervision and inspection of building and built-industry works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards while coordinating with stakeholders to drive project quality and progress.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full-time site supervision and inspection of building and built-industry works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and contract requirements
- Monitor workmanship and quality of works, identifying defects and ensuring timely rectification
- Inspect materials, verify suppliers, and ensure proper storage of materials on site to maintain quality standards
- Track actual site progress against approved work programmes and report any delays promptly to project management
- Perform regular safety, environmental health, and housekeeping inspections to uphold site safety standards
- Identify, document, and report safety issues, incidents, accidents, irregularities, and non-compliances on site
- Ensure contractors implement immediate corrective actions for safety and other non-compliance issues
- Maintain accurate and organized site records, including inspection reports, photographs, drawings, and installation documentation
- Assist the Project Manager in verifying progress claims and monitoring variation works for accuracy and compliance
- Participate in site, progress, coordination, and variation meetings to facilitate effective communication and project coordination
- Coordinate with contractors, HDB, residents, Town Councils, authorities, and other relevant parties to resolve site issues and ensure smooth operations
- Support audits, testing, inspections, pre-condition surveys, and handover activities to meet project requirements
- Provide regular, detailed feedback to the Project Manager on project progress, quality, safety, defects, and site issues
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant practical experience in full-time supervision of building or built-industry-related works
- Degree or Diploma from a local polytechnic or higher certificate in Architecture, Building, Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Science, or Building Facilities Management

- Strong verbal and written communication skills to support reporting and coordination activities
