Site Supervisor
Summary
Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and safety standards while coordinating teams and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate daily project activities to ensure successful project completion.
- Monitor project schedules, site progress, and work quality to ensure timely delivery within budget and client requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
- Allocate manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources effectively to maximize productivity.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, work programs, progress reports, and site documentation.
- Supervise site operations and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
- Monitor project costs, control budgets, and recommend cost-effective solutions where necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Identify project risks, implement preventive measures, and resolve issues to minimize delays.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise site personnel to achieve project objectives and maintain high performance.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress to management and clients.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, site challenges, and unforeseen project issues.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment required for project execution.
- Prepare project completion reports and ensure all project documentation is properly maintained.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant supervisory or project management experience in construction projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, or government projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural, architectural, and M&E works.
- Good understanding of Singapore construction regulations, workplace safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work on-site and meet project deadlines.
