Responsibilities

  • Direct daily mechanical and electrical (M&E) installation works to ensure adherence to approved drawings and method statements
  • Schedule daily manpower deployment and manage site logistics to maintain continuous workflow and prevent stoppages
  • Coordinate timely material delivery to support uninterrupted site operations
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship quality, identify site clashes or technical issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations by conducting toolbox meetings and ensuring compliance with permit-to-work requirements
  • Liaise with project managers, consultants, main contractors, and client representatives to resolve conflicts and facilitate smooth project execution
  • Interpret complex M&E and architectural blueprints to guide quality control and track project progress
  • Lead teams effectively by planning manpower and resolving conflicts while maintaining clear reporting on site activities

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma, NITEC/Higher NITEC, or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Relevant on-site supervisory experience of 1 to 5+ years in residential, commercial, or industrial projects
  • Trade certifications and safety credentials such as the BCSS (Building Construction Supervisor Safety) course

  • Strong team leadership, manpower planning, conflict resolution, and reporting capabilities
