Site Supervisor
• Serve as liaison to internal and external customers and respond to requests and inquiries. • Use appropriate skills to improve services efficiencies. • Understand his/her role in the event of an emergency and participate in emergency drills and exercises. • Involved in the development and review of the risk assessment and continual improvement. • Provide accurate information to support team member’s appraisal. • Inspect routes, and sites require attention and incorporate these works into daily or weekly schedules. • Planning workloads and routes. • Allocating tasks to team members. • Handling problems or complaints in his/her area of responsibility. • Monitoring and reporting on team performance. • Completing relevant paperwork. • Keep him/herself up to date with rules, regulations and Veolia policy. • Keep his/her seniors fully informed about work progress, including present and potential work situations, and suggest new methods to improve work conditions. • Make his/her team members aware of their responsibilities, and the importance of following Veolia rules, Procedures and Work Instructions. • Daily communication with colleagues in the commercial and operations teams. • Recording duty times. • Communicate collection requirements to the Fleet Coordinator and prioritisation of list. • Regularly review team size to ensure the number of employees matches contracts’ requirements and workload. • Recording duty times, preparing timesheets and controlling overtime to be in line with the budget. • Plan subordinates' work schedule and leave/off days to agreed levels to ensure continuity of business, ensure employees take leave in line with UAE labour law and return from leave on time. • Follow company procedures for emergencies, vehicle damage etc. • Diligently perform any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her senior.
• Good knowledge of waste management practices and hazards. • Valid UAE light vehicle driving license is a must. • General knowledge of Environmental hazards and HSE principles. • Innovative and continual improvement mindset. • Effective problem identification and problem solving.
