Job Summary:
The Breckenridge Children Ski & Snowboard School is looking for patient, caring individuals who love working with children ages 3-6 to join our team this winter.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $20.00/hr. - $31.00/hr.
- Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
- Shift Type: Part Time hours available
- Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
- Housing Availability: No
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as an on-snow specialist for 3-6 year old classes on the beginner hill
- Ride the beginner lift with 3-6 year olds. Help children load and unload the chair lift safely
- Assist children with bathrooms breaks when skiing on the beginner hill
- Assist with bringing children back to the children center when sick or sad
- Positive, informative and courteous communication with guests
- Help serve lunch to the children during assigned lunch times
- Additional help in the kitchen with food preparation and clean up
- Willing to assist operating learning carpets and/or provide assistance in lift lines
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience and passion for working with children - preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Fluent in all aspects of the English language
- Familiar with proper technique and safety regarding the lifting and handling of children
- Intermediate skiing skills (comfortable on green runs - will be tested!)
- Pass a background check
- Previous experience working in a guest service position – preferred
- Early childhood/education degree – preferred
- Conversational in the Spanish language extremely helpful - preferred
The expected pay range is $20.00/hr. - $31.00/hr.. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
