SLOT TECH III
General Summary of Job Duties Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton STYLE.
- Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 30 years old.
- Adhere to all Standards of conduct outlined in the Silverton Handbook.
- Must have knowledge of all areas in the Slot Technical field. Must have machine knowledge i.e. advanced troubleshooting, game recalls, machine optioning, etc.
- Responsible for all electronic gaming equipment to be in operational condition according to Company Department Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Must assist Vendors with all repairs and Supervise work being performed.
- Use care in all activity to provide safety first.
- Identify and notify any unsafe conditions, areas or equipment that needs to be addressed to your supervisor immediately.
- Proper use of Slot Department equipment.
- Responsible for machine and sign moves.
- Responsible for machine installs and removal.
- Responsible for machine conversions and all optioning.
- Responsible for all machine repairs.
- Responsible to investigate machines for meter variances and perform repairs as needed.
- Assumes responsibilities of a Floor Person for jackpot verification, upon Slot Shift Managers request.
- Provides technical evaluation to Slot Shift Manager or designee during disputes.
- Maintain an open line of communication with Management concerning processes, Team members, guests and vendor related issues, problems and/or solutions.
- Monitor and maintain all communications between player tracking units and EGM’s and player tracking to bank network switches.
- Maintains parts inventory levels and coordinates with the Slot Tech Supervisor on orders to be placed; Inventories all parts received.
- Responsible for making requests for BV hardware and Printer Hardware exchanges to provide adequate stocking levels, may contact vendors directly at the request of the Slot Tech Supervisor or Manager.
- Responsible for recording and providing a list of serial numbers to Slot Tech Supervisor of the player tracking hardware that is being sent out for repair.
- Requires minimal supervision and aids the Slot Tech Supervisor when needed.
- Assumes responsibilities of Slot Tech Supervisor for contacting vendors for parts quotes, upon Slot Technical Managers request.
- Assumes responsibilities of Slot Tech Supervisor upon Slot Technical Managers request.
- Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
- Arriving on-time and ready to work for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
- Other duties as assigned.
