Smart Plant Administrator
Job responsibilities
Hexagon Smart Plant Administrator with professional knowledge in refinery, petrochemical, and oil gas plant.
Education: Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent technical degree required.
Responsibilities, experience & skills:
- Development and maintenance of piping specs using SRD (Smart Reference Data)
- Preparation and management of piping specifications (paper spec) in Smart 3D
- Knowledge in customization of Symbol Editor using VB dot net symbols for components - custom symbols
- Knowledge in supports symbol customization
- Isometric setup, administration, and customization
- Report template customization
- General arrangement (GA) / plan drawing style setup
- XML, building assemblies (PAL)
- SQL query development for data extraction, validation, and reporting
- Custom attributes configuration, etc.
- Collaborate with other disciplines (e.g., piping, structural, electrical) to ensure seamless integration of 3D models
- Have knowledge/worked in the integrated environment SDx/AIM - digital twin
- Engineering design validation
- Understanding the requirements of the structure data for digital twin requirement, asset management as per client standards (1D, 2D, 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D, 7D, 8D)
- 4D simulation - construction planning and scheduling
- Virtual and augmented reality
- Power BI reporting and dashboard development
- Data quality audits and data validation checks
- Knowledge in SPPID administration and user support
- SPPID administration includes creating symbology, filters, reports, system maintenance, etc.
- Produce setup documentation detailing the SPP&ID setup (symbol customization, data dictionary customization)
- Follow department and client drafting methods and standards
- Create auditing requirements and checking for quality assurance of the design effort
- Help develop automation enhancements
- Strong aptitude for project planning and implementation of new design software
- Different types of report and automation
- Smart isometric administration, rule configuration, and output customization
- End-to-end project lifecycle data handling (FEED, detail design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover)
- In-depth knowledge of Hexagon software architecture, database structure, and administration functionalities, specifically as applied to oil and gas projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team within the demanding environment
