Company Overview
A Series A fintech company building a decision-intelligence platform for independent wealth management firms and financial advisors.
The platform helps RIAs and broker-dealers make better decisions through portfolio risk analytics, compliance workflows, reporting, and advisor productivity.
The company has achieved strong product-market fit with approximately $3M in ARR and is building toward $10M. With a lean team and a highly accountable culture, this is an opportunity to work closely with the CEO and Head of Sales while helping scale the company's enterprise sales motion.
Challenge
We are looking for an SME & Enterprise Account Executive to own the sales process from qualified opportunity through signed contract for RIA and wealth management firms with 50+ advisors.
This is a closing-focused role, not a full-cycle prospecting position. Qualified opportunities come from Marketing, the Target Account Development Representative, and the Head of Sales.
You'll manage complex enterprise sales cycles involving principals, CCOs, COOs, and operations leaders, with deal sizes ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 ACV.
At the enterprise level, deals may involve multiple stakeholders, multi-year contracts, phased rollouts, and executive-level consensus building.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the sales cycle from qualified opportunity through signed contract.
- Manage SME and enterprise opportunities with RIA and wealth management firms with 50+ advisors.
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying committees involving principals, CCOs, COOs, compliance officers, and operations leaders.
- Develop deal strategy and build consensus across stakeholders through close.
- Build and tailor pricing proposals and structure multi-year and multi-product agreements.
- Lead negotiations and maintain strategic discounting discipline.
- Maintain a clean, accurate, and forecastable pipeline in HubSpot with 3x+ coverage.
- Keep CRM stages, notes, next steps, and close dates consistently updated.
- Partner with Solutions Consultants on demos and technical proof points.
- Execute comprehensive handoffs to Customer Success after every close.
- Surface competitive intelligence, market feedback, and deal insights to improve the enterprise sales playbook.
- Build and maintain relationships across the U.S. wealth management ecosystem.
Must Have
- 3+ years of experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
- Proven experience managing deals in the $100,000–$500,000 ACV range.
- Documented quota attainment of 90% or better for at least one full year.
- 2+ years of sales experience in wealth management, financial services, or fintech.
- Strong understanding of RIA structures, custodians, compliance, and fiduciary concepts.
- Familiarity with the RIA and IBD regulatory landscape.
- Experience selling into enterprise wealth organizations, RIA aggregators, consolidators, or similar organizations.
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM.
Nice to Have
- Experience at wealthtech companies such as Envestnet, Orion, InvestCloud, Nitrogen, Addepar, Morningstar, SS&C Black Diamond, Docupace, COMPLY, or ACA Group.
- Existing relationships with CCOs, CIOs, COOs, principals, or advisory leadership at enterprise RIA or IBD firms.
- Experience selling into custodian ecosystems such as Schwab, Fidelity, or Pershing.
- Experience with MEDDPICC, Challenger, or comparable enterprise sales methodologies.
- Proven ability to generate client referrals within the wealth management community.
- Experience with modern sales tools such as Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and HubSpot.
- Experience selling SaaS, wealthtech, compliance, portfolio management, risk, or advisor technology solutions.
