We’re looking for a Snowflake Engineer to join a long-term data project with a global tech consultancy working in the AI and cloud space. This role requires strong administration skills in Snowflake, along with the ability to support automation and development within a modern data ecosystem.
- Administer and manage Snowflake environments: user/role configuration, warehouse optimization, security policies, and cost monitoring.
- Automate and support data workflows using Python.
- Collaborate with teams on data tools and internal apps using Streamlit.
- Operate within AWS cloud infrastructure for Snowflake integration and deployment.
- Contribute to data transformation logic and pipelines; DBT experience is a plus.
- Troubleshoot issues, support scalability, and follow best practices in Snowflake architecture.
- Require approximately 5 years of experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, or similar.
- Have strong hands-on knowledge of Snowflake administration (must-have).
- Possess solid Python scripting experience for automation or ETL processes.
- Be familiar with Streamlit and AWS environments.
- Experience with DBT is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Be comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed team.
- Have exposure to AI/ML data projects or modern data stacks.
- Experience in consulting or fast-paced, client-facing environments.
