As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming our data landscape, working with cutting‑edge technologies to solve complex business problems and drive intelligent solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines in Snowflake.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement data transformation and processing frameworks to extract and load data from various sources.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization within the Snowflake environment.
- Develop and manage ETL processes using industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Stay ahead with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, bringing new ideas and innovations to the team.
To succeed you will have:
- Proven experience in Snowflake data warehouse design and development.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
- Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing, and best practices in data architecture.
- Experience in Dataiku OR DBT
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) is highly desired.
- Knowledge of Snowflake best practices and new features
- Background in the financial services industry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a knack for working in a collaborative environment.
