Snowflake Data Engineer

We’re hiring for a major enterprise client in Sydney. This one is for a Snowflake engineer who wants to build AI-powered data products, not just pipelines.

The role
You’ll build Snowflake data products and AI solutions that make analytics smarter. Think Cortex AI, agentic workflows and real business impact.

• Design and build scalable Snowflake pipelines and data products
• Build and optimise ELT/ETL processes, data models and semantic views
• Develop AI-powered solutions with Snowflake Cortex AI
• Build agentic workflows for search, summarisation, recommendations and automation
• Write SQL, Python, stored procedures, streams and tasks
• Put governance, metadata, lineage and security controls in place
• Support CI/CD and good software engineering practice
• Optimise Snowflake for performance, scale and cost
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to deliver AI-enabled analytics

What you bring

• Hands-on Cortex AI or GenAI experience
• Strong SQL and Python

The deal

• 6 month contract with potential for extension
• Sydney based
