The Snowflake Data Engineer position is a full-time, remote role within the Financial Services - Commercial Banking industry. The role requires a Senior Developer/Lead with experience at the Lead/Principal Consultant level. The primary responsibilities include utilizing strong programming skills in Snowflake, SnowSQL, and Snowpipe, along with a solid understanding of Python (Core python, Flask & Django) and RDBMS databases such as SQL and Oracle. The candidate should have practical experience in ETL/ELT concepts and possess proficiency in SQL and Analytical SQL. The role involves collaboration within a team or working independently, gathering client requirements, and developing solutions accordingly, while also demonstrating familiarity with Agile-based delivery processes. The successful candidate can expect an approximate annual base compensation range of $80,000 to $100,000, which may vary based on factors like experience, skills, geographic location, and overall qualifications. A security clearance is not required, and visa candidates will not be considered. The ideal candidate should have 7+ to 10 years of experience, be at a mid-senior level of seniority, hold at least a Bachelor's Degree, and occasionally be willing to travel.
