TCS is hiring a Snowflake Data Engineer (5+ years experience) for a PAN India role. Day to day the person designs, builds, and deploys ETL data pipelines into Snowflake using Snowpipe, writes and optimizes complex SQL, automates data processing with Python, and monitors systems for availability and bottlenecks.
Roles and Responsibilities - Snowflake Data Engineer

- Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines using Snowpipe to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for data processing needs and design solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop complex SQL queries to optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues in Snowflake DB.
- Implement automation scripts using Python or other languages to streamline data processing tasks.
- Ensure high availability of critical systems by monitoring system logs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements.
