Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Specialist with 711 years of experience in designing, implementing, optimizing, and managing Snowflake data solutions in complex enterprise data environments.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Data Warehousing, RDBMS, ETL/ELT, performance tuning, and data architecture, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Snowflake data solutions based on business requirements.
- Translate complex business and data requirements into effective Snowflake architectures and workflows.
- Provide technical guidance to ETL developers for developing accurate high-level and low-level data mappings.
- Monitor and analyze Snowflake system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Perform query and warehouse performance tuning to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Troubleshoot Snowflake data and performance-related issues.
- Evaluate data systems for variances, discrepancies, data quality, and overall efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across data solutions.
- Participate in requirement analysis sessions and contribute to acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, ETL developers, data engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure adherence to Snowflake development, deployment, security, and architectural best practices.
- Support continuous optimization and improvement of enterprise Snowflake environments.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
- Excellent SQL and RDBMS knowledge
- Experience in Snowflake performance tuning and optimization
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience designing scalable Snowflake architectures
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data mappings
- Knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and data integrity
- Experience with HLD/LLD and technical solution design
- Strong requirement gathering and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Profile
- 7–11 years of overall IT/Data Engineering experience
- Strong enterprise experience with Snowflake implementations
- Experience working on large-scale data platforms
- Ability to independently analyze requirements and propose scalable Snowflake solutions
- Strong combination of technical, analytical, and communication skills
