Snowmaking Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate the snowmaking plan and maintenance of the snowmaking system. Willamette Pass Resort operates a mix of TechonoAlpin TR10 and SMI fan guns. This can include troubleshooting and maintaining snowmaking controls, snowmaking infrastructure, including electrical, guns, pipeline and components.
• Facilitate the relocation of snowmaking guns and hoses to various areas around the mountain as directed.
• Operate high-voltage equipment and high pressure air and water system utilizing appropriate safety precautions.
• Train snowmakers on snowmaking procedures and safety aspects, and supervise and monitor the performance of the snowmaking team.
• Inspect equipment function, track hours & warranty information.

• Consistently collaborate with all mountain operations departments to contribute to mountain-wide communication and safety.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other laws governing personnel environment and equipment safety for the purpose of ensuring safety in the workplace.
