Snr Application Engineer

DIMENSION / SCOPE OF THE JOB:

Application & Product Engineering – Hot Gaskets, Cold Gaskets, Heat Shields

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY OF THE POSTION

1. Study and understand application environment for all HOT gaskets, Cold Gaskets and Heat shields

1. Study / prepare part drawings considering engine /package boundary conditions

1. Work out design proposals, review with the global team and submit to customer

1. Co-ordinate for manufacturing feasibility

1. DVP finalization with customers

1. Co-ordinate with the customers – sales team- internal departments like purchase, production, quality, maintenance

1. Return Part analysis

1. Visiting customers as per calendar to generate new business opportunities

1. Visiting customers to attend functional quality issues

1. Benchmarking of competitor parts

1. Participate in White Space analysis with team

1. Knowledge & capability to handle IATF systems/documentation responsibility for Engineering dept.

1. Working knowledge of APQP/PPAP processes.
2. Team coordination & management
