[SO] IT Security Governance Intern
Summary
The IT Security Governance Intern will support the assessment of security policies, regulatory compliance, and risk management processes. The role involves researching security standards and providing documentation support within an English-speaking environment.
- Assess and interpret IT Security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform compliance and governance assessments and identify gaps against applicable standards.
- Provide consulting and recommendations to stakeholders based on established security standards, frameworks, and internal regulations.
- Support risk assessment, control evaluation, and remediation tracking.
- Conduct basic research on IT Security standards, regulations, and best practices and summarize key findings
- Education: Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field
- Basic understanding of IT / Cybersecurity concepts.
- Basic awareness of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.
- Good analytical and logical thinking.
- Ability to learn and understand standards, policies, and requirements.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to work with governance/compliance-related documentation
