SOC Analyst
Summary
Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and escalate findings using SIEM tools and SOC processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and review security alerts and events.
- Investigate potential security incidents and perform initial analysis.
- Escalate incidents and follow established response procedures.
- Monitor system and security logs for suspicious activities.
- Document incidents, findings, and actions taken.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations.
- Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts and incident handling.
- Experience with SOC operations, SIEM, or security monitoring tools is highly preferred.
- Security certifications are advantageous but not required. Good analytical and communication skills are essential.
