SoC Architect for Scale-Up and Scale-Out

You will define scale-up and scale-out architectures for SoCs used in server, rack, and cluster deployments. You will translate latency, bandwidth, and reliability requirements into interconnect, I/O, memory, and power architecture decisions, and guide design exploration.

Responsibilities

• Define scale-up and scale-out architectures from a SoC silicon perspective
• Translate server-level latency, bandwidth, and RAS requirements into SoC interconnect and I/O architecture
• Architect SoC participation in rack- and cluster-level deployments
• Define the impact of system scale requirements on I/O, memory hierarchy, and power, clocking, and reset strategies
• Provide architectural guidance during design exploration

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in SoC architecture and data center platform design
• Deep understanding of scale-up and scale-out architecture, server and rack-level data center systems, and SoC implications
• Experience translating system-level requirements into silicon architecture decisions
