Position: Part-Time Soccer Coach / Instructor
About the Program
Soccer Stars is partnering with AYSO to provide a fun, engaging, and development-focused soccer program for young players in the Torrance community.
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic soccer coaches who enjoy working with children and creating a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead age-appropriate soccer practices and activities.
- Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, and teamwork.
- Create a fun, encouraging, and safe environment for players.
- Keep children engaged through games, drills, and creative activities.
- Communicate professionally with parents, program staff, and AYSO representatives.
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to coach.
- Follow Soccer Stars and AYSO safety and program guidelines.
Qualifications
- Soccer playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
- Experience working with children is a plus.
- Positive, energetic, and patient personality.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays.
- Background check and other program requirements may apply.
Schedule
Fridays & Saturdays
Part-time hours, with specific times based on program sessions and field availability in Torrance.
