Social Content Creator
WPP Creative Social & Influence (Social@Ogilvy) | Singapore | International Tech Brand
We're growing fast. WPP Creative Social and Influence (Social@Ogilvy) is the fastest-growing team within WPP and one of the most awarded social and influence teams on the planet — and we're looking for a Social Content Creator to help us keep it that way.
We're looking for a Social Content Creator with 3 years' experience — agency, client-side, or as a creator in your own right. You'll sit within WPP Creative Social and Influence (Social@Ogilvy) — a borderless, region-wide team that brings together talent from Social@Ogilvy, our specialist social practice, and VML's social talent — working alongside strategists, art directors, copywriters, and community managers to bring social ideas to life.
We value creativity grounded in insight, big ideas, flawless execution, and enjoying the work.
This particular account team is being set up to do always-on social and influence for one of the world's biggest tech brands. You'll report to Singapore's Head of Social & Influence Creative, with a dotted line into the Australia-based Social Creative Lead for this account.
You're genuinely passionate about social. You know what's trending, why it matters, and how brands can show up authentically. You want to sharpen your creative thinking while getting hands-on with the craft of making high-impact content.
About the role
You'll conceptualise and produce both planned and reactive content for the account — the work is in English language, then adapted for use across ASEAN markets. You'll take content end to end, from agile lo-fi production to content capture on dedicated shoot days, and you'll help bring strategy and creative to life for the brand and for new business pitches. This is always-on work, not campaign-by-campaign, so you'll be building a consistent, high-performing presence rather than one-off bursts.
What you'll do
- Ideate: Generate compelling, social-first, platform-native, on-brand content ideas — in English language, built to adapt across ASEAN markets — that deliver brand and campaign objectives.
- Hack trends: Monitor social channels in real time to spot breaking trends, viral audio, and cultural moments, translating them into rapid creative.
- Produce end-to-end: Script, shoot, direct, and edit high-quality, lo-fi content — heavy focus on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts — using Premiere Pro, CapCut, and native platform tools. You can self-shoot and self-edit.
- Design: Build static and motion assets in Adobe Creative Suite to support always-on and organic programs.
- Capture live: Attend brand events, product launches, and activations to capture real-time content on-site, collaborating with talent, ambassadors, and fans — point-and-shoot, on the ground, in the moment.
- Brief creators: Partner with social strategists on highly collaborative creator briefs, so external partners produce content that feels authentic and high-performing.
- Work with AI: Use WPP Open (our proprietary AI platform) to drive efficiencies, automate repetitive production tasks, and experiment with scale and personalisation.
- Work as a team: Collaborate across Singapore, Australia, and in-market colleagues; report to the in-market Social Creative Lead, with a dotted line into the Australia-based account Creative Lead.
What you'll bring
- 2+ years as a hands-on social creator, able to self-shoot and self-edit. More than 4 years will be considered for the Senior role
- A solid short-form video portfolio across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
- Deep familiarity with native creator tools across major platforms, with a strong focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- An understanding of how to adapt content styles and formats so they perform best on different channels — including across ASEAN markets.
- Experience on always-on social — this is ongoing content work, not campaign-only.
- A passion for staying current with platform updates, algorithm shifts, and emerging trends.
- Appetite to experiment with new formats — repeatable formats, episodic content, clipping strategies, and engagement techniques.
- A collaborative mindset, ready to pitch ideas in client presentations and internal workshops.
- A portfolio, active social accounts, or professional track record that shows what you can do.
- Excellent written and verbal communication across content formats.
- The ability to work independently while being a genuine team player.
The brand
You'll be creating for one of the world's biggest tech brands, so an interest in technology is a must. Experience creating content for tech brands is preferred.
