Social Media and Video Production Advisor

You will lead editorial direction and day-to-day social media activities, helping strengthen awareness of Mila Ventures and its initiatives. You will plan, film, produce, and edit video and audio content from initial logistics through final delivery, while supporting a dedicated podcast and strategic events.

Responsibilities

• Develop editorial strategies
• Lead the publishing calendar for social media platforms
• Manage community interactions and grow engagement across digital platforms
• Manage content update requests
• Review and write content using writing best practices
• Publish content daily
• Develop engaging video concepts for social media
• Coordinate filming logistics, project management, and end-to-end shoot delivery
• Capture, produce, and post-produce video and audio content, including editing, sound, and visual effects
• Support the launch, production, and growth of a dedicated podcast
• Propose improvements through creativity and initiative

Requirements

• Experience in a high-growth startup
• Strong execution orientation
• University degree in communications, digital media, or an equivalent field or experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience managing video and social media projects, supported by a portfolio
• Experience reviewing and writing content
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English
• Understanding of current artificial intelligence issues is an asset
• Interest in ventures, startups, venture capital, and artificial intelligence is an asset
