As a Social Media Consultant Senior, you’ll lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of social media initiatives that elevate the SSM Health brand, strengthen community engagement, and support organizational priorities. Job Summary:

Supports the organization's social media strategy through content creation, storytelling, campaign coordination, editorial calendar management, and stakeholder collaboration. Develops and publishes social media content while helping ensure social media initiatives align with organizational priorities, marketing objectives, business needs, audience interests, brand standards, and platform best practices.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and publishes, in collaboration with creative services, social media content, including copy, images, video, and platform-specific assets.

  • Creates audience-focused content and storytelling opportunities that support organizational priorities, marketing and brand objectives.

  • Coordinates social media campaigns and content initiatives from planning through publication.

  • Maintains the day-to-day social media editorial calendar and content scheduling activities.

  • Collaborates with creative teams and internal stakeholders to identify authentic stories, audience needs, and content opportunities that reinforce trust and engagement.

  • Prepares content briefs and coordinates asset requests to support social media initiatives.

  • Reviews content for accuracy, brand alignment, compliance requirements, and platform best practices.

  • Supports community engagement and social listening efforts by monitoring audience conversations, sentiment, questions, and emerging trends.

  • Monitors campaign and channel performance and prepares recurring reports, insights, and recommendations to enhance audience engagement and content effectiveness.

  • Shares social media expertise, audience insights, and best practices with stakeholders and team members.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree

EXPERIENCE

  • Three years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
