Purpose of Position
- We are seeking a highly creative, agile, and digital-native Social Media Content Associate to serve as a key execution engine across our two core social pillars: Global Brand Social and Co-lab Social.
- Reporting directly to the Assistant Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and publishing short-form video content and visual assets across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social channels. This role demands a blend of visual storytelling, speed, and strategic alignment to drive community engagement, elevate high-profile collaboration launches, and keep the brand ahead of social trends.
Job Description
A) Creative Content Generation & Execution
- Regularly support our Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok channels with owned content.
- Ideate, script, shoot, and edit mobile-first, short-form video content (TikToks, Reels, Stories, Shorts) tailored for both the Global Brand Account and Co-lab Social Account.
- Produce on-brand copy, captions, and visual assets aligned with global creative direction.
- Leverage modern generative AI creative tools (text-to-video, image enhancement, editing automation) to increase content production velocity without compromising quality.
- Maintain a rapid production cadence to capture fast-moving internet culture and viral social trends in real time.
- Identify and collaborate with creators & agencies, creating briefs, managing send-outs of products, reviewing social storyboards, managing production (sometimes remotely), and ensuring on-time delivery
B) Dual-Pillar Campaign & Co-lab Support
- Assist with the rollout of global collaboration campaigns from ideation to delivery.
- Maintain and update content calendars for our social accounts.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with graphic design, PR, and regional marketing teams to ensure global alignment on launch timelines.
C) Hands-on Social Marketing & Operations
- Monitor channel analytics, tracking engagement, video retention, and conversion metrics to refine content tactics.
- Conduct ongoing competitive research on social trends, creator formats, and competitor collaboration launches.
- Support project communications, asset management, and administrative workflows within the Marketing team.
- Strong organizational skills - managing content libraries and YouTube playlists.
Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Media, or related discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on content creation or social media management experience (agency or in-house lifestyle/retail brand).
- Native proficiency in TikTok, YouTube & Instagram Reels visual language.
- Strong mobile video filming and editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools).
- Proficiency in visual communication tools like Figma, Canva, or Keynote.
- Familiarity with AI editing tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Photoshop AI) is a strong plus.
- High aesthetic judgment with a strong eye for lifestyle/tech accessory styling.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English. Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
- Self-motivated, structured, and capable of prioritizing tasks under tight launch schedules.
