Job Description
The Social Media & Content Creator is responsible for the strategic growth and management of CMP’s digital presence to enhance reach, engagement, and brand visibility across the industries served. They oversee the entire social media process, from content creation and platform management to performance analysis, utilizing LinkedIn as a strategic core alongside supporting channels. The priority is building audience and momentum by transforming CMP's capabilities, expertise and leadership into a consistent, high-impact digital presence. They will maintain strong engagement with customers, partners, and prospective employees while collaborating with internal executives to establish credible and visible thought leadership strategies.
Role and responsibilities
📱 Strategy & Audience Growth
Platform Ownership: Scale our presence across LinkedIn (primary), Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Algorithm Strategy: Tailor content formats, cadence, and tone to maximize organic reach.
Paid Campaigns: Manage budgeted paid social campaigns to amplify high-performing assets.
Trend Spotting: Monitor manufacturing and tech trends for real-time engagement opportunities.
🎥 Content Creation
Multi-Media Production: Produce high-quality, platform-native short videos, graphics, and articles.
Event Capture: Film, edit, and repurpose content from trade shows and company events.
SME Collaboration: Partner with engineering and leadership to simplify complex technical concepts.
🤝 Community & Thought Leadership
Community Management: Nurture our online community by managing comments and active conversations.
Executive Ghostwriting: Craft LinkedIn content for executives to position them as industry experts.
Partner Relations: Connect with industry publications and partners to boost brand credibility.
📊 Measurement & Digital Support
Analytics: Track KPIs like growth, engagement, and traffic to optimize performance.
Testing: Run A/B tests on hooks and formats to double down on traction.
Web & Email: Maintain WEB flow site content, apply basic SEO, and support email newsletters.
Brand Protection: Safeguard brand standards, reputation, and confidential customer information.
Related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
College diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field — or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on social media management experience, preferably within B2B, manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or technology sectors.
A demonstrated track record of growing social audiences and engagement — portfolio or metrics required.
Strong content creation skills, especially short-form video and graphics (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar).
Comfort with social and web analytics (LinkedIn Analytics, Plausible, or similar) and translating data into action.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, ensuring all content is accurate, consistent, professionally presented, and aligned with CMP's brand standards.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
Master the French and English language (suppliers/customers/employees around the world).
