About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Events Manager to join our team in the Central Region on a full-time basis. This role is integral to InnerWork Circle's strategic objectives, bridging our digital presence with in-person engagement opportunities. This role involves hands-on work especially on YouTube channels. You will be responsible for building and nurturing our online community whilst orchestrating impactful events that strengthen brand visibility and foster meaningful connections. This position sits at the intersection of marketing strategy and experiential engagement, offering a unique opportunity to shape how our organisation communicates and connects with its audience.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and groom the existing team.

  • Drive channel growth, audience engagement and content performance for InnerWork Circle’s YouTube presence.

  • Develop, implement and manage comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms, creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience

  • Produce high-quality social media content including copy, graphics, videos and interactive posts that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives

  • Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to inform strategy refinement

  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages and feedback in a timely and professional manner

  • Plan, coordinate and execute internal and external events that strengthen brand positioning and encourage meaningful engagement

  • Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting and post-event evaluation

  • Develop event marketing campaigns and promotional materials to maximise attendance and participation

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure events align with organisational goals and brand values

  • Stay abreast of social media trends, digital best practices and emerging technologies to keep our presence innovative and competitive

  • Support the wider marketing and communications team in executing integrated campaigns and initiatives

What we're looking for

  • 4-6 years of experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing within a professional or corporate environment

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms

  • Strong experience in event planning, coordination and execution, from concept through to evaluation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences

  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms (YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar)

  • Proven ability to create compelling visual and written content that drives engagement and supports brand narrative

  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple events and campaigns simultaneously

  • Creative mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Experience with event management software and CRM platforms is advantageous

  • Knowledge of marketing communications or employee engagement strategies is desirable
