In this role, you won't just manage accounts—you will act as the director, storyteller, and strategic voice of our campus. You will lead short-form video production, work with AI-assisted creative tools, and build data-backed social campaigns that resonate with Gen-Z students, parents, and industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy & Short-Form Video Production

  • Own the monthly social media strategy and execution across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

  • Script, film, host, and edit high-retention short-form video content (Reels, YouTube Shorts) showcasing campus culture, student achievements, and academic excellence.

  • Experiment with video hooks, pacing, and visual storytelling frameworks to drive continuous reach and engagement growth.

2. Campus Storytelling & On-Camera Presence

  • Serve as an active creator and on-camera host for campus events, student podcasts, spotlight interviews, and trend-based video formats.

  • Collaborate with faculty, student ambassadors, and alumni to produce authentic "Day in the Life" and success-story campaigns.

3. Growth, Community & AI Workflow

  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, CapCut Pro) to accelerate content ideation, scriptwriting, and graphic design production.

  • Cultivate an active digital community by driving meaningful interactions in comments, DMs, and community threads.

  • Maintain a distinct, relatable, and professional brand voice tailored to each platform’s audience.

4. Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including retention rates, engagement benchmarks, watch time, and conversion leads.

  • Deliver bi-weekly performance reports and actionable strategic tweaks to the Marketing Head.

  • Partner with the Performance Marketing team to provide high-converting organic concepts for paid Meta and Google campaigns.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Media Production, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1–3 years managing active social media accounts with a proven portfolio/showreel of short-form video output. (Agency or Education sector experience is a plus).

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Advanced mobile/desktop video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro).

    • Graphic design via Canva Pro / Photoshop.

    • Social management & publishing platforms (Zoho Social, Buffer, or Hootsuite).

    • Comprehensive understanding of Meta Business Suite and YouTube SEO.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Strong copywriting skills (crafting scroll-stopping hooks and clear calls-to-action).

    • High comfort level in front of and behind the camera.

    • In-depth understanding of Gen-Z digital culture, emerging audio trends, and platform algorithm shifts.
